Been having a little look round and there are LOADS of induction kits, was wondering who's got what fitted to their 1.8t and if anyone could recommend anything..... rather power gains than just a big noise tbh lol

Yep had a read of ALL of his cars 'story' only the other day, what made me wanna fit one to mine- been umming about it for to long now lol

pipercross are ment to be bad for your maf as there oiled and bmc is ment to be restrictive after i believe 200bhp.
its the best place for the right answers,most used open cone filters on here is green and jetex i cant comment on jetex as i havent used one but ive not heard anything bad about them.
i cant fault my green filter definatly better than the halfords open cone filter i had before.

I use a jetex open cone filter, The gentleman that did my remap (Bearing in mind I have a carbon fibre enclosure, Said the jetex was performing exceptionally and much higher than BMC's or other filters he'd mapped on.
My setup looks like

I use a Halfrauds universal open cone filter! Cheapo as chips and does the job nicely. Only thing was, I had to make a bracket to support the filter as it didn't come with one.
Looks nice chris - take it u moved your battery to mount your filter so far forward?! looks great but I think a tad OTT for my car! ... may well look into the Jetex filters though
