1.8T springs on tdi

hi done a quick search but couldnt find anything,,, will 1.8t lowering springs fit on a tdi

also the springs say 40mm, will this still be the same

Well, I drive a 1.9 TDi 90, and have Cupra R Shocks and Spring fitted, so I'd say yes.

Difference in front end engine weight is around 25-30 kg IIRC. (TDi is slightly heavier)

Most after market lowering springs for a 1.8T 20v will be the same as a 1.9 TDi

Mike just out of interest how much did you pay for the Cupra R setup?.
I have a set of standard shocks to sell but have no idea how much they go for.

when i ordered my eibach pro springs the part number was the same for the 20vt and the tdi.
