Hi,

Any1 here have stock suspension(standard shocks) with Eibach SportLine springs?

How u fell driving with this? What about shocks? What about curbs and holes in road?

Ive got these fitted to mine, lowers it nicely, not mega low but just right. My old vectra vxr was down about 40mm, and they used to catch on kerbs and my driveway ramp, the leon however has no such problems. Ride wise....its firm, but not unbearable. No need to avoid potholes or ruts in the road, but id imagine if you were running bigger wheels, or low profile tyres, this would be slightly worse

The other thing ive noticed with the eibachs, is the corrosion on the springs is terrible! These have been on about 3 years and have almost no colour left, just rust basically! My old H&R's still looked new after 3 years!

Improved the ride how?

I too have them and wouldn't say they improved the ride.... Its notably firmer and less forgiving over uneven terrain, speedbumps etc.... certainly less comfortable too..... There is however less bodyroll and it does look a million times better than it did previously.

Interesting.

I will say that for just springs only it's the best I've experienced having had a number of cars on just lowering springs in the past.

It's only marginally firmer and less comfortable in my opinion (wonder if the diesel/petrol thing makes a difference, in terms of weight over the front end etc.?)
