saying that..........i wouldnt mind with the damn emissions with the 100cel

then again, those with dodge MOTs have sh*t cars to start with or they wouldnt need one
lol

Or maybe they have little things they shouldn't, rear lights without reflectors, no cat, 100w headlight bulbs, most things can be changed and should come MOT but some people don't and they may know some one who perhaps isn't to strict with an MOT test.
As you said, you've never had one but surely your not so naive to think it doesn't happen?

so due to certain peformance modifcations on mine and coming very close to the MOT failure bracket....mine is classed as a sh*t car then? thats quite a vague statement:blink:

i guess, think about it, if it cant pass the vehicle standards tests that all cars should adhere to
should it be on the road?
is it safe for everyone else?

vague statement galore

emissions is one thing, but say rear lights without reflectors as above, whats to say your not causing a hazard whereby someone clatters the back of you, knocks the car onto the pavement and mows down a child.
is it worth it then?

It passed the emissions, just! but it did not fail on anything else and is perfectly road worthy

anything else then yes, i.e. brake lights etc then of course that would warrant/justify that statement....but emissions? come on!? you know as well as I do that a lot of guys on here run very close to the limit due to performance modifications, in the name of speed etc etc, but the remainding parts of the car are all ok

but we are not near any line with a zorst.

iirc my last emmisions test passed easierly.

surely this is about set up rather than bhp. emission tests arnt there to stop powerful cars... just poor running ones (enviromentally at least).

i find these are such difficult engines when it comes to running rich/lean
my old gt-four was a simple monster for setting fueling if your emissions were rediculous, something goes awry with these 20vt lumps and they are a bit of a bugger

Agreed Rik, they do seem to run pretty high emmisions for the car type.
Anyway back to the original point, if your car isn't throwing out a gallon of V Power every 10 mins, get a 100Cell if its a wee bit "fuelly" get a 200Cell.

Don't forget that on the MOT test, emissions aren't measured when the car is under load, so that's not really relevant.
