17" Mk3 wheels on a Cupra?

Simples. I realise that it is only May (not that it feels like it outside) but I don't intend to run the 19" multispokes in the winter and I have a set of 17" winter tyres that I could use if 17" wheels fit.

I should think so, at worst it'll need spacers but I'm sure there's someone on here that has done that

Spacers would disturb the offset and push the wheels nearer to the wheelarch. I am more concerned by the larger discs and calipers fouling the inside of the wheel.

If someone has tried it I would be interested to hear from them.

Sold my 280 5weeks ago with Altea XL 17"ers with studded tyres on. Cleared the calipers ok. Et 43. 205-55-17. Width was 6,5".

17" will fit Cupra, those brakes are not so big after all.
Seat orginal 7x17 ET49 no problems.

Yea I'm pretty sure they sit as flush as the FR brakes
