im well proud of mine now i didnt even consider seats. Its a 2000 1.9tdi se with only 120k on the clock, fsh and all that. im getting 57mpg round town dont know if thats the remap best part only paid 1700

Got yourself bit of a bargain there!

i snapped his hand off lol. there was 1 with 180k for 1800 so i wasnt going for that

Im happy to see people with more miles then me! i can now say i only have 120k on the clock, normally when i told people they would alwasy worry me by tellin me it was alot of miles! fingers crosd i reach the 300k!

OMG!! Love it! I too have a "low milage cupra" just hit 100k and been getting worried! I do a fair amount of track days but look after it & service it all the time. But sod that, lets rock it to 300! :)

Good effort lads!

Great going with that mileage! This thread makes me feel better!;)

Our 53 plate TDI has just done 124k and is the best car that we've owned. It has got some minor cosmetic war wounds (trolley dings, etc), but with a remap, filter and regular oil/filter changes it flies!

Roll on 200k!

:)

Getting quite excited myself as my 02 Tdi is currently on 299,460 - my next fill of diesel will take me through the 300K barrier. It's still giving mid-50s mpg, although that got up to 60+ recently when a leaky rad prompted me to keep the revs down for a couple of weeks.

Apart from the leaky rad, which is now fixed, I also had to fit a new exhaust last October. MOT is due in April.

Edited to add : my air-con also broke after a couple of years and I had to pay an independent to fix it.

Edited again to add : I've just noticed that I've been a member since I bought the car but have only posted 6 times... :-(

AJ.

300k..!! Are you a taxi driver or courier?? lol

Respect to you though and your LEON :)

This is so awesome to hear that it stills goes like stink at that mileage and its only a testiment to the 1.8T its a bulletproof lump if oil changes are carried out with good quality fully synthetic oil, I hope mine chugs along for that long.

Id just keep an eye on the cam belt and get a reputable vw/audi specialist who you can trust to give her a good look over a good inspection, When was the water pump and coolant last done, Last cambelt job i guess?

170.000!!!!!! :D Awesome!

my 03 1.8t has done 150,000 now and is still going strong as ever, easily out pulls lesser maintained lower millage models. had a few niggles but it has all been normal wearing parts/problems, for example clutch pedal + slave, rear wishbone bushes etc. it alsways gets serviced correctly and let to warm up and cool down, but by god does it get spanked when its to operating temp!! :p stage two coming before christmas!!!
