Does any one know if 18" golf gti monza rims will fit?

I think the Ibiza has wheels/tyres that are too small and wheel arches that are too big. It spoils the look slightly. I got the standard upgrade to 17" Saga wheels but it doesn't improve the look very much because of the big arches and high suspension. I hope the 18" rims fit it should look good and if you can also lower the suspension even better.

are they replicas mate? cos if they are off a gti they wont as stud pattern is different, if pattern is same they will go in the arch no probs, might stick out a little bit due to different offset tho :D

oh sorry my bad yeah 03 onwards gold have 5x112 offset and our ibiza's have 5x100, however if they r real ones you will probs need spacers so it is worth while getting adapters because that will fill the gap

Do the larger wheels cause any performance related issues? I heard that 16's are perfect for such a small car when it comes to performance.. thanks

yes will make the car slower and make your car more likely to rub over bumps

Okay, so what would you (or anybody that has a SEAT already) reccomend on the optimal wheel size if the car is lowered lets say? Combining looks + performance.

Thanks ;)

well "17 are good for both you can get away with getting a wider tyre aswell wich will give you more grip

but thats my opinion, i mean i also like 18" its what your preference is really

Thanks for the help in a bit unsure if they are to big.
they are reps i was looking at tho £570 of ebay with tyres
