Dean, they lend themselves to having this done and think Seat could have sold lots as aftermarket items.
Do you like the reg??!!
Gloss black roof wrap next week as well.
DTUK box going in another 500 miles....!!!!

I'm getting gloss black roof as well! There's gonna be too many of us about

Hi Dean,

I had my MR2 alloys in shadow chrome, only downside is that the inserts tend to look like they have brake dust on them even when there clean.

I was thinking it might hide it more. I do loads of miles and it's always my wheels which look the dirtiest.

Not a fan of the wheels or the roof tbh. I would have just taken the car with the 17s and spent the cash on some really nice aftermarket wheels, probably 19s but that's just me.

What have you done to the exhaust, is it just different tailpipes or a complete new system?

Each to their own!
Tailpipes are slip on ones from ebay.
Now fitted a mkI Cupra splitter which looks good.

Just had the alloys finished in Anthracite with diamond cut spokes plus a few other bits done too.

Before - as I got it.

I really like those alloys. But how have they kept with the diamond cutting i hear stories about it not being long lasting? I want mine to look like that do you think i could get two tone powder coated to look not too far from that? Cheers
You didn't happen to be near Milton Keynes today driving up the A5 as the missus claims she saw your car go past!

Hi all. I think ihave found the solution to your diamond cutting. My local alloy refurbishment people just posted this on facebook and i think its a great idea as it give the diamond cut look but without the shortfalls. Definitely worth a read and some research as this could save you a big bill on refurbishing your wheels

Looks an interesting alternative to diamond cut. Had one diamond cut wheel refurbed on my Golf at a cost of £100 because it got curbed on a bend avoiding a prat in the centre of the road. Apart from that the rest still look pristine 7 years on and after 3 tyre changes. Had a couple of small abrasions on the edge of the rims of one wheel that got lacquered as soon as they happened so no white worm.:D
