Thanks for each opinion but I think that diffrent is usually Leon 1P and Cupra or Cupra R. Brakes play important role! I wrote that on my last Leon 1.6 Petrol I had 19" Tomason 8.5x19" ET 40 tyres 225/35/R19 lower -50/-35mm down with Eibach springs and all was O.K. I think if I put on my Cupra R same rims I will have problems. Cuprarob112 wrote very wisely but I dont know from books or from real :)

If somebody put picture please write correct data include ET please. White FR is not fake (photoshop) ???

Why should brakes play an important role? even some 17" wheels will work on the R and 18" will be a straight fit (the front brakes are big but not bigger than most aftermarket brake kits.

The black cupra is mine and with a drop of 40 front and rear I can say that nothing rubs with the pictured wheels. I allready had three sets of BBS and 1 set of OZ on my car. At the moment I run 8x19 ET44 Air II with 235/35/19 and with the same drop (KW var 1) tyres will rub front and rear (even with work on the plastic).
So far I fitted about eight lowering set and numerous wheelsets.
The only thing I can say from experience is that (apart from the rubbing / nescesary work) choosing too low ET values, too cheap/heavy wheels and spacers can ruin the handling of the car completely. Imho. 8.5 is too wide for a Leon and lower than Et 42 with 8j turns the car into a boulevard cruiser instaed of a well handling hot hatch.... (I once tried the Sportecs in 19" and my car became undriveable on the Autobahn at speeds higher than 125 mph.

P.s. I know the white car. no idea if this is a shop but in real live it stil is this low and has the BBS wheels.

Another pic of a Cupra with black CH026 8x19 Et35 wheels with loads of work on plastic (most of it removed) and fenders (pulled 0.5 cm to the outside).
It looks ace but the car is nearly undriveable.

thanks again.
There is my Cupra R. As you can see there are rims 8x19 ET53 tyres 235/35/R19 Pirelli P Zero. I will try on next week put 10mm pad. After I will try to weight down and recoil rear part on the way. I think that rear is will not problem. Because I want to use same ET on all car I must to find correct data ...

Reacapitulation: Your Black Cupra has rims 8.5x19 ET 51 ( I found that this rims has 50ET) tyres 235/35/R19 lower -40/-40 and all is O.K. Nothing rubs. Correct ???? From Instructions Seat data Cupra has tack front/rear 1533/1517mm, Cupra R track front/rear 1528/1510mm what is a little bit less (why I dont know). From these parameters if I will use ET 45 all must be O.K. Yes I know one is theory another live situation :)

No, my car in the picture had 8x19 ET51 with 235/35/19 and nothing rubbed.
At the moment I hav 8x19 ET44 with 235/35/19 and there is some rubbing on fast rides/speedbumps.

As for the original 19" wheels. A dealer I know has one and lowered his 45 mm front/rear and nothing touches. After putting 5 mm spacers in front and 10 mm for the rear there was some rubbing. Guess 5-7 mm would be perfect but might be a problem due to the centering.

here is how it looks with spacers

Yes I know problem with thin wheel spacer. Thanks again. On the other side your Black Cupra was MY 2008? Did you have some lower springs or chassis changed ? And my last question on Black Cupra are BBS CH026 model or only BBS CH. Its same or not.

I have a KW var. 1 kit on it, I removed two bolt in the front arches and bent the plastic a bit.

Ch stands for challenge and through the years BBS did some modifications to the CH. As long as the rim says "motorsport" (beware that the replica's/fakes also have this on them) it the Ch026. As of my 2008 a least the black version got stainless rim protectors and a bit later material was taken of the spokes to get the wheel even lighter.
Any pricetag under 1600 Euro's / 4 from a dealership and you probably won't get the CH's

... today I ordered rims BBS CH Silver in 19". About a few days I will present car with new rims. Maybe in rear I will use 10mm wheel spacer.

I think that I didn’t do mistake if I ordered BBS model CH size 8x19 ET 50.

congratulations, imho. you got yourself one of the nicest (ligt and strong) wheels available for the Leon.
Never understood why BBS never did the CH in gunmetall (just like the CK) which would make it even better (since I don't like black wheels on a black car).

My opinion that model CH-R is the best nice wheel from colection BBS. Its pitty that only in 20". I speculated to buy their but I think that this combination will be good, too. Maybe I will use spacer wheel 10mm ... All I will see if I put tyres ...
