Errrrr...yeah but the CX500 was an ugly pig of a bike, even if despatch riders loved it! lol But yeah, you have the engine configuration spot-on - transverse v-twin engine with shaft drive....

Was only using the cx as a mechanical layout reference - the guzzi is a far nicer machine.

When asking where to go telling us where you are based would be useful. I know 2 places local to me that can do the work.
As said above you would have to strip the internals out of the DPF and ensure it looks stock for the MOT. I don't believe emissions will be a problem. I believe it would help economy, but doesn't make much odds to power. Obviously as you have to map the DPF software out you might as well up the power at the same time.
