• Hi Guest There will be essential maintenance on the server on Monday 10th November from 5am meaning the website will be offline for a period of time. We will do everything to ensure the downtime is kept to a minimum.
Can you fold them using the key fob?

No - the only way apparently is with the adjuster knob ( turn it 180deg )

You do however have total closure facility

press and hold the unlock until the windows fully open
press and hold the lock until the windows fully close

Works on the sunroof too

welcome to the 2.0 TDi club

when I was buying mine the 2 options I was looking out for were the xenons and the leather. I think I saw one of each and one of those was yellow so a total non starter for me.

Anyway, enjoy the car and welcome somebody else to share questions/problems when they start going wrong :)

Oh - and before you wash it first time and snatch up the wiper arms damaging the bonnet in the process !!!!!

Learn how to put the wipers in park position.

Turn off the ignition and imediately flick the wiper stalk - they will park part way up the screen.

To undo it - switch on the ignition and flick the wiper stalk again.

Opposite way around - early cars were chrome - later cars were black

Sorry that's what I meant. Was a bit confused as mine is a 2012 pre facelift and has black headlights, but noticed a 2012 pre facelift in the readers rides section that has chrome headlights.

Can't remember when the swap over was.

My 60plate had chrome headlights - David at SERE motors was doing a deal on the black headlights - I bought a pair and swapped them over.

Perhaps the previous owner of yours has also done the same.

Yeah that's possible, but by 2012 you would have though pre facelifts would come with the black headlights, seen as the facelift came in in 2012.

Haha grass is always greener Grapo...........

Actually SWMBO's Yaris needs swapping and I'm starting to like the idea of the FR as our second car. Having XDS, thicker ARB's, better springs and 215/4017 tyres is a nice starting point for a little project.

I saw earlier in the post 200bhp+ achievable, can anyone tell me what the highest tuned Ibiza FR 2.0tdi cr 143 is running powerwise and what modifications to get there?

Hello mate, mine is tuned to 204 bhp with the dpf.

That's some going with the DPF still in place.

What else has been done on top of the re-map ?

What sort of boost pressure was needed ?

Who's map is it ?

Nuffin else mate jus the map.
I was shocked to lol!
I will take a pic of the graph wen it lets me upload pics!
I took it to Will at P-torque!
Had the map done about a year ago now and no issues

Cool.

P-Torque is where mine will be going.

Will was quoting 185bhp with DPF and 205bhp without DPF

If i'm going to get it done I want rid of the DPF - don't fancy the replacement cost a few years down the line.

if your considering the dpf removal anytime soon just beaware that new MOT laws in feb call for a visual inspection

Already covered that - and spoken to the local mot tester.

As long as the DPF box is still there and looks intact - providing it passes the emissions test - it will pass the MOT.

P-Torque were showing emissions values at around half the MOT requirements without the DPF and with a remap.
