2.0 TSI 190 - Exhaust Sound

Anyone managed to get any decent sound out of this exhaust yet, without resorting to removing the GPF? Sounds terrible.

Car has 2 silencers and a gpf right at the front.
Got rid of the centre silencer and its made a slight improvement but not a great amount, maybe 15% change.

Think i will remove the silencer just after the back box next.

May skip doing the second resonator and go for a new muffler instead.
Don't fancy going all out on a full back box delete.

Not for the estate model, plus at that price its cheaper to go custom.
Does look good though.

You can buy them from Aliexpress, and they work with OE airbox. You can buy a set with a silicone intake hose (which you will need to trim), but it will work with the OE intake hose (which I recommend). I needed to remove 1 of the 2 green rings on the elbow, else I wasn't able to get it in place (its that tight).

Cannot see the link in your thread, only thing with my car is i don't know if it'll fit on mine as its a ea888 3b

You can also ask them for verification. I would recommend to buy only the elbow and muffler delete. The silicone hose is not a good fit and requires trimming, it also isn't sturdy and collapses easily. Buy the intake hose from a known brand or invest in a aftermarket intake

If you want to keep it OEM-ish, the DO88 v1 system is also a good option
