Anyone managed to get any decent sound out of this exhaust yet, without resorting to removing the GPF? Sounds terrible.

I got a quote to do a res delete, but not sure how much of a difference it would make.

Car has 2 silencers and a gpf right at the front.
Got rid of the centre silencer and its made a slight improvement but not a great amount, maybe 15% change.

May skip doing the second resonator and go for a new muffler instead.
Don't fancy going all out on a full back box delete.

You can buy them from Aliexpress, and they work with OE airbox. You can buy a set with a silicone intake hose (which you will need to trim), but it will work with the OE intake hose (which I recommend). I needed to remove 1 of the 2 green rings on the elbow, else I wasn't able to get it in place (its that tight).

Cannot see the link in your thread, only thing with my car is i don't know if it'll fit on mine as its a ea888 3b

@Mo_86 I bought my set here:

You can also ask them for verification. I would recommend to buy only the elbow and muffler delete. The silicone hose is not a good fit and requires trimming, it also isn't sturdy and collapses easily. Buy the intake hose from a known brand or invest in a aftermarket intake ;)

If you want to keep it OEM-ish, the DO88 v1 system is also a good option

If i buy the elbow and muffler delete only, will it fit the existing pipe for mow till i can get another?

The 190 intake air hose is a different part number to the Cupra hoses.
I would study images of both - to see if there are differences?
190tsi 5Q0 129 654 AA supersession to 5Q0 129 654 AG
Curpa 5Q0 129 654 AE supersession to 5Q0 129 654 AF

Thanks for the info, looked at pictures of both from various angles lol and it does look near identical.
However I'm not going to change that part just yet and will go with the elbow and muffler delete first.
Let's hope that fits. 🤔
