Just wondered if any of you have got the 2.0TSI 211PS lump in your car?

And if so whats it like and any of you running Stage 1 or 2 mapping on it?

Im thinking of trading my Leon FR TDI in for one as i want something a bit different from the Usual leon FR or Cupra, 2.0TSI 211ps engine seems good and im hoping with a stage 1 REVO it will be close to 270bhp

I had the Leon FR TSI 211ps mapped to around 273hp, went like a scolded cat only down side was the thirst !!. It is a lovely engine though with bags of torque for a petrol engine. ........................., if petrol was cheap as chips I would have stayed with the FR 211ps.

only thing i can see will be a problem is im so used to Torque with my TDI's but i fancy getting over 300bhp now
My superchips stage 1 gave Max 372 Nm @ 4651 Rpm OE was around Max 307 Nm @ 5167 Rpm, which pretty good for a petrol lump and at a lower rpm to boot! [NB the 211ps engine gives around 250hp out of the box thats GOLF/LEON, it would appear the Audi A4 in the same configuration gives less power stk at around 220hp - why I don't know]

Hi Andrew, I have a 2.0TSI... When I got the car I asked REVO about a map... But due to time and money it's one of the things i had/have planned that I haven't done yet... would be very interested in hearing from someone who has the map installed.

Was also thinking of an exhaust, have you looked into that side, if so can I ask what your thoughts were.

Cheers

Im only considering wether one of these would be worth while at the moment, with my previous 2 cars ive run into brick walls with getting any further than stage 1-2 so i dont wanna buy one of these then find out im stuck at stage 1 again

I Think you should be able to persuade Milltek to produce something for these if enough people pestered them but if not theres the likes of Scorpion or even visit a custom place like Pipe Werx

Look at the Audi forums on the B7, that should give you all some idea's including exhaust types.

Talked my boss into getting his A4 mapped by Revo last week. No RR figures but it's bloody quick, his is the quattro 2.0TSi so has the advantage of 4wd. I'm borrowing it in a fortnight to go to Canterbury so will be able to give more info after that :)

If fear of ressurecting an oldish thread..

Just in the throws of swapping my 143 CRD for a TFSI Exeo and will be getting it remapped. Our VAG Specialist informs me a stage one revo will bring it to 266bhp and 386nm. Stage 2 tipping 300bhp.

Did you or anyone else get this done?

That does seem a bit low, the "210ps" [the motor already produces around 245+ in std form] TSFI is good for 273-75 in stage 1 form and I certainly had that from my Leon 210ps, only down side was the mpg - hard to get above 30mpg and drive slowly !?!@! and that was using superchips remap

Hmmm I shall get them to check their figures next week. Im picking the new car up tuesday so will be hopefully getting it remapped next saturday.

I took it out for a test drive and I have to say that even in standard form the difference between the TSI and my 143 TDI is like chalk and cheese...especially when you give it the beans at 60mph to 100mph. Where the TDI ran out of puff around 80mph and you are stirring the gears to make more progress the TSI kept on pouring on the power (until sanity and the need to keep my license kicked in :p ).

I suspect with even a stage 1 remap it'll be a rocket in sheeps clothing...im going to de-badge it so the only give away will be the twin pipes and ill be able to enjoy the look on beemer drivers faces when they think they just been blown away by a bog standard TDI A4 look alike

Floosy / AndrewJB: Just check the superchips web site, the inline vis the transverse may give a different power output for the 210ps engine or any other VAG lump come to think of it!!

i have the 211 fr leon with the stage 1 revo, its a seriously fast car, my car pushes a standard 8p s3 along, ive had a go with a few of them, they do not have the mid range i have, even gives a standard 135i a serious race, mine leon about 400nm
