2.3V5 (170) - Rain Sensor Standard?

Can anyone confirm that the rain sensor on an 03 plate 2.3 V5 (170bhp) Toldeo is standard.
I am having an argumnet with Autoglass who tell me that the rain sensor is not standard, but I thought it was a standard item.

The issue is that two weeks ago I made an appointment to have my windscreen replaced as it had a large crack in. Its now becoming a comedy of errors.

• Fitter did not come on arranged day, he had been give the wrong date.
• Fitter turned up with incorrect windscreen type.
• Autoglass did not phone back on promised day to rearrange fitting.
• They never seem to have appointments closer than a week away!

I am very annoyed as I now have to drive up to Blackpool from London with a cracked windscreen.
Now that I am getting a new Leon in March I am sorely tempted to see if the dealer will take it with the crack and save myself £60!

I thought the rain sensor came as an optional extra with the autodipping rearview mirror......it was on the Bora anyway..............

Didn't buy my V5 new (6 months old), but as far as I can remember, the only options on the V5 were full leather and metalic paint. My 03MY V5 certainly has the rain sensor and auto diming rear view mirror.
