2 nd gear grinding

when i give the car some to 6 k revs and try to change quickly to second it grinds every time and the clutch is fully in . has any 1 had this prob the dealer i got mine of is **** so just wondering what could be wrong with it . it is a 2006 fr 20000 miles

i have the same problem,but not all the time

maybe 1/10 grind if reving over 6

if i let the the revs drop down below 5 before changing it doesnt grind but i no all the seat dealer is going to say is it doesnt do it for them

could be the clutch is not disengaging fully even though the pedal is fully down

is the biting point a bit low ?

biting point seems to be fine i would of thought it would be all gears if that was happening

Sounds like syncro-mesh on that gear is fooked to me, i had the same thing on a Saxo many moons ago

Happens to me and mines 5500 miles on it and about 3 months old. Its also a diesel.
