2 quick questions BMC CDA

Hi all!! Im looking to get a BMC CDA kit, I have seen them for 70mm and 80mm outlet? I think i need 70 but not 100% sure? can someone clarify this. I know loads of places do them but can someone recommend a good place to buy from? And if there is anything i should know before buying and fitting this kit please let me know!! Thanks guys

I have the BMC CDA and it looks and sounds good. If its a loud system you want perhaps this isn't the one for you. This system is one of the best built but not the loudest. The size is MAF dependant, on the LCR its 80mm and LC its 70mm

Niceone! Im not worried about the noise. Where did you run the intake pipe to? Im thinking of going down to the fog light?

you'll need a 70mm for a leon cupra or 80mm for the cupra R. i've got one on my LCR, available from TTS roadsport

There is a group buy on an air intake that replaces the standard one (behind the passengers side head light) with one in the sam position but bigger and better flowed. It's £30.
My one is just in the standard position just now and you get everything in the kit to do this

I have already changed my original intake and took the box round the light off so i cant put it there now. Its going in to a scoop behind the grill but i wanted it to draw in air from lower down really, Thats why i thought fog light, plus i know this has been done by loads of poeple on here.

Aye it has been done but it has its downfall, because its closer to the road theres more chance or sucking up puddles.
It's not been mentioned that anyone has sucked up water and fecked their car but it is possible

Yeah, i know what you mean. I did think about that but didnt hear of anyone having a problem as yet? We dont have too much water round here so think it would be ok.
