Hello all, I'm looking for a space saver spare for my Cupra R ST, along with a tool kit.

I've got the Brembo brakes being the R so I'm wondering if anyone knows what size wheel I'd need for it, please?

Any links would be appreciated also

Unless the Cupra R has a shallower wheel well than the standard ST, a full sized alloy will fit.

A space saver will not go on the front with 370mm discs, A full size wheel will fit the spare wheel well, with the floor in the raised position

Thanks for the reply, mate. I had a feeling it might be full sized jobby.

Have you tried putting the floor in the lowered position, if so does it foul by much?

Also, have you thought about placing it in face down with some light protection laid down first, to accommodate the tool kit insert?

Off topic, but I used to ride with a fuzzy logic off the old Welsh Bikers forum, that's not you is it?

I have the tool kit in a bag, two fold up chairs (for watching grandson play football) pump, first aid kit and a hi-vis coat all in there. Insert and space saver in garage. Sorry I am not that fuzzy logic.

It is recommended not to use a spacesaver on the front of car, so if you get a front wheel puncture, they recommend putting a rear wheel on the front and the spacesaver on the rear.

I would not use a spacesaver full stop. Thats why I bought a genuine spare. To be fair I don`t think anyone would do two wheel changes in the pouring rain.
