2002 52 ibiza seat quality engines!!!!!!!

my brothers ibiza has had problems on and off for 6 months now last night it wouldn't start so took it to dealer tinking it was coilpacks as when it did start it was running really rough
it is 2002 52 reg


spoke to dealer today it is the timing belt come off knackered all the valves the bill will be £400 thankyou all this on a 3 and a half year old car with only 30000 miles on.
Seat try and say there cars are a match for the premium cars this definatley makes me think again he car has already had nearly a £1000 spent in the last 6 months

mention to the dealers for a contribution as 30k miles is way short of expected life as long as its fully serviced of course

i've just managed to convince a local ford dealer to supply an ABS pump for a 10yr old mondeo thats only done 60k miles

they diagnosed/supplied and fitted free of charge - had to pay an inital diagnosis but that was refunded

it pays to moan if something hasnt become fit for its purpose but i must admit you do have to be stubborn, keep cool, and ask the right people the right questions
