I have now moved onto a 2010 seat Leon cupra in monsoon grey, I picked up the new beast from Ireland yesterday with just 55k miles on the clock. So far I have not got a route planned for mods and would love any recommendations with mods you have found best with yours.

Pictures will follow shortly.

. My first mod would be a Stage 1 remap! Best bang for buck and really transforms the power delivery.

I am debating it to be honest, currently on my list is DV and pcv, cam follower and I found out today I have a timing chain rattle so that is getting booked in tomorrow, went to go outside to clean the car ready for photos and guess what, massive rain storm

That's not good. But worth doing as a preventite measure anyway. I heard the rain last night, looked out of the window this morning and thought "nah".

It is completely stock at the minute, I am awaiting a price on the timing chain kit, what are the baskets again?

I'm no mechanic but the baskets filter any crap before anything hits the injectors and if they fail bad things can happen lol

I was quoted £120 incl VAT + £9.50 for P&P return to a place near me that obviously doesn't include the labour to take them out and refit... Also worth noting that if you have the engine open whilst they wait to get them back see what other things will save you labour in the future like the MAP sensor if that's in bad condition as I think that's under the Inlet manifold which I was quoted as Fiddly haha

For the price above you get the injectors cleaned and fixed if they don't atomise correctly (unless they're dead), new baskets for the injectors which I highly recommend lol

The timing belt kit is a pain in the butt as well isn't it for labour costs...

I am just awaiting a call back as we have a very highly recommended VAG specialist near me called Autotechnica, they did the cupra 4wd conversation a few years ago, when they get back to me with a price I will ask them about the baskets below the injectors.

My ockets are not deep enough for that sort of build lol, the FR is in my dads garage as I had no where to park it. they are both getting cleaned hopefully tonight and the fr is then going up for sale this week.
