Back to the normal Spec's

1.2 E 60 BHP
1.2 S a/c
1.2 TDI S a/c
1.4 SE
1.6 Tdi SE
1.2 Tdi SE

No more sport models

Will all be FR

so

1.2 Tsi Fr
1.2 Tsi FR DSG
2.0 Tdi FR
1.6 Tdi FR
1.4 tsi FR DSG

Same with the 5 door and with the ST

So without sport models, you can only get 1.2 tsi in FR. What kind of difference will that make in price if we compare it to same engine in sport model of current ibiza? Will it be much more expensive?

About facelift Fr looks nice, but basic model is really bad. Front part is really crap.

Found interior pictures but can't post them(don't have enough posts). Anyway not much has been changed, AC and glovebox look better...

do they look a different shape?
i would be suprised if they werent retro-fitable as it would mean they have to change the rear quarters and also the boot

the rear bumper has changed a bit so the lights would change, could be done but would mean new bumper and lights mate. That's what I reckon, same as the LEON.

Glove box is definitely better and a/c look sweet too but not much of an improvement
Think i'll just stick with mine as I prefer the looks of it
Prolly we'll be able to change the glove box to the new one or at least it would be nice

I actually prefer the smaller grilles on the side of the current climate control unit.
Not sure on the speedo surround either...

Glove box and the fact that they paint the bottom bit of the bumpers are about the only improvments over the current model IMO

They changed speedometer surrounding, AC is now properly integrated and doesn't look silly like before. Hopefully they will also change gear knob on DSG so it looks more like VW. Then it will be just perfect for me. :)

The only difference I can see on the AC is slightly larger grille bits either side or am I being thick!! OK I see the slight difference round the speedo now... quite subtle though.

this is my car...

EDIT ah I see what you mean about the AC now, there's no "step" there like there is on mine, on mine it looks a bit like an addition into a blank radio tray or something like that... can't say it looks wildly different though.

Yeah that's what I meant, there's no 'step' and it looks much better integrated. Besides that it looks the same.

Latest set of pictures are more encouraging, looks smarter all round, still surprised how little has changed though especially the interior.

Wish they'd have changed to regular VW head units (RCD 510 etc), would really lift the dash/interior.

I agree, this was the one I thing I was really hoping they'd add in the facelift.
