2014 infotainment upgrade

I would like to upgrade the infotainment system. Will the newer ones work / fit? I have seen an Apline unit... anyone recommend anything? I believe I have the Mib1?

The best option so everything works is to go for a retrofit of the MIB2. But I think it’s like £800.

Personally think it’s worth it having had both.
