2016 1.4 tsi act turbo noisy

Just coming up to 2000 miles on my 1.4tsi act 150bhp. Turbo starting to howl/whine anyone else have any noise with this engine.

I've covered 22000 in mine now but I had the exact same problem when I had done around 5000. I fixed it by properly booting it the redline in second and third. Seemed to clear something out of the turbo and the problem never returned. Give it a go, but make sure everything is fully warmed up first.

Only annoying noise on mine is the "rattle" I can hear when driving alongside a wall and it's in 2-cylinder mode. Have never heard the turbo though..

I can't say ive noticed much when it goes into eco-mode apart from the symbol on the display,and ive not heard any noise from my turbo either, but I do think over time the exhaust note is changing a little (bit deeper and growlier though that may just be me)and mine is now around 15k miles

You can only hear it with the window open to be fair..

Recently passed 25,000 miles in mine.

I recently experienced noise when on the throttle. I noticed the air box circlip had come loose.
