Just after a bit of advice if possible
I've got a 1.4 Leon FR 2018 with a broken rear spring so I thought it would be easy enough to drop the rear control arm and replace the spring. Anyway it's not that simple as It's a solid beam axle when I have a look at it the the control arm is part of, so it wont drop much and there doesn't seem to be enough room to get spring compressors around the spring. I guess I could unbolt the shocks both sides and see if there is enough room then to get the old spring out and new spring in ?
Has anyone done this job? Any hints or tips?
