The Cupra UK customer service woman actually chuckled on the phone to me when I asked how wiring was not covered.
Like I said my dash cam also recorded the chuckles of Oldhams technicians about wiring.
My car is still not running right and I have no confidence in it or the brand sadly.
And to be laughed at ….enough to walk away from both car and brand.
Cupra will still sell lots of cars don’t get me wrong but for me your best voice is your wallet

Oldham Seat and Cupra have been (unsurprisingly) a bit quiet on this cvpra!
They didn't sell the car originally, didn't cause the fault or diagnose it and didn't end up doing the repair?

They serviced the car but when the fault occurred 2 weeks later, couldn't get it back in for a few weeks to investigate, so the OP went elsewhere 🤷‍♂️

the car was serviced by Oldham - an oil change
and updated the infotainment system.
To say that wasn’t caused by them remains a question. However they could not properly check but after kicking off with them they agreed to plug it in hence the dash cam of their technicians. I think that tells its own story.
I went to Stockport Cupra who were actually decent but could only work to Cupra HQ terms so it’s not them I have the issue with directly. More Cupra UK / Oldham

The way you worded the comment in your previous post, after the repair had been carried out it sounded like Lookers were the ones making the comments?

Lookers were fine
Oldham was where the service and software update was done…..and then faults occurred

Unfortunately it's highly doubtful the two were related, just a coincidence and poor timing. I'm sure Lookers would have been able to provide pictorial evidence if there was any element of poor workmanship present as a result of the tasks carried out by the Oldham dealership.
