Anyone run this, lowered? I'm thinking of running 215's on my rear axle, 205's up front, I'm lowered on AP Coilovers as far as they go on back with adjusters still in. Just wondering if they'll go ok or whether I'll get scrub?

I'm running 215/40 on the front with no issues on coilovers. Got 205/40 on the back with 15mm spacers with no issues. Why do you want wider rear tires? Surely you'd be better with wider tires at the front as they do the driving and steering?
On a FWD car I find it better to have improved grip on rear to lessen the likelihood of oversteer, this is why you always fit best tread to rear.
Im just back from getting my winter tyres on. 215/40 17's all round. Lowered on Joms & 20mm spacers on the back.

Hmmm....I'm space 10mm on back, 3mm up front, I do get occasional scrub up front on 8j rims, need to work out what my offset is.
Hit a hump in the road last night and I got a big scrape now. Guess the spacers will be coming off over winter.
Chino you dont so much put the best tread on the back to lessen oversteer, it is to remove the risk of oversteer via aquaplaining.

besides if you have good tires it shouldnt be and issue. iv got the whiteline rarb on the stiffest setting and iv had lift off over steer only when i was seriously pushing it with my old tires.
That's what I meant nutkin. My thoughts were more contact is better, as I also have the rarb and I'm polybushed on rear and it likes to oversteer lol
Ahh I see. I thought you were just proposing wider tires on the front. Wider tires all around is the way to go!!! Only downside is worse fuel economy. But with Goodyear eagle f 1s all around would be a damn site quieter ride!!!
