ive been told it can be done with immobiliser defeat. the technology has came down so most people doing custom mapping now have access to it. i had bought a tt 225 one for mine and was assured before i bought it it could be made work, ended up getting a ICR ME7.5 on ebay so sold the tt one.

different turbo, different injectors, different map...among other things...all irrelevant then i guess

what i needed was an me7.5 , to get remapped to suit big turbo application. so the guy who does the mapping said any me7.5 could be made work, with immobiliser defeat , even taking into account immobiliser 2/3 incompatability. its not as impossible as it used to be.

wierd, never heard that before.

id have thought it wouldnt work if your MAf is different, and the engine has different positions on all the sensors/senders.

What was wrong with your original ecu, why buy another?
