Yes this is true

The exhaust isn't from the Golf R, it just simply follows the recipe of having one less silencer, this plus an ECU adjustment to give burbles when letting off the throttle.

No idea why they didn't do that from the off imo.

No idea why Seat initially released a 265 bhp Cupra then a 280 then a 290 with only mod being a different exhaust... silly people!
