DSG Service Costs in 2024

Hi folks.

Anyone had a DSG service done recently (6-speed/oil change, not the snake oil fake service on the dry clutch type) and how much they paid, and whereabouts? I've not got any quotes yet but looking for a rough idea, in central Scotland. I know in 2024 everything is extortionate now.

My last DSG oil change was 20k miles ago and now at nearly 70k miles, so wanting to do this in the next few weeks if possible.

I had mine done by Seat Stoke-on-Trent in August 2022 for £269. Independent specialist was quoting around the same price too. It’s a Leon Cupra 280 DSG by the way.

Had mine done recently at midland vw in Cannock for £260. Mine is the 7sp dsg though.

Why are main dealers so crap?!

Phoned 3 different SEAT dealers.

First one, £317.40, takes all day, don't do the filter.
Second one, refused to give me a quote over the phone as they 'had to see it in person first'??
Third one, told me he wasn't sure if they did the filter and would check and phone me back with a price. Unsurprisingly, I got no phone call back.

Think I'm going to try and find a half decent indie to do it, I'd rather give them my money than a main dealer.
