Had a dsg service with seat a month ago and after they completed the service there was a leak. They told me to take it back after 2000 miles as it might have been excess oil. Had it checked today and unfortunately it is still leaking. About 2 weeks ago I was driving it pretty hard and ever since the gears have been changing later than usual (a few mph later) so I’m thinking I’ve damaged it or something. It still drives and shifts fine though but it’s now sat on my drive and I’ve been advised to not drive it until it gets checked in 2 weeks.
Seat want it for 3 hours just to find the leak which is over £300 so I’m taking to a specialist instead. Anyone know what could be causing the leak and why the gears are changing later than normal? Am I going to need a new box?
