Does the Exeo come with 2 flip keys?

I did the 2nd flip key mod with my Leon and it was very easy, just get the key fob from ebay, get a blank blade cut, fit the blade once cut, fit the transponder from the poverty spec key and program it all.

hi
i went seat today about a spare told me only they can cut them and program them and they want £170 a bit expensive for a spare i might not use

You can get any type of car key cut online with just a high resalution photo.

You can deffo do it on a MK2 Leon and you can deffo get all the bits to make one on ebay. I just need to know how you pair a remote with an Exeo.

As I don't have my Eveo yet can someone look through the owners handook and find out how you program a remote. Is it the same as other VAG's? ****to code the remote you need the old original key in the ignition with it turned on then lock the door with the new key remove key then press unlock and horn will blip wait 6 second and press unlock again the key is now coded to your car!****

if you find out how to do i will you let me know please mate.ive seen the 3 button one on ebay for £60
cheers mate

In my case the car will be used by myself and my wife so we will be fighting over the flip key. When the car is delivered I will look into it more and see if a 2nd one is possible without paying dealer prices.

What Audi A4 is the Exeo based on, B5,B6,B7 or B8? As far as I know the Exeo started in 2009 and hasn't had a facelift as yet.

I want to search audi forums on key programing info.

I found this info on how to program a remote to a B7 A4:-

How do I reprogram the remote control?

1. Take the valet key, put it into the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position, just prior to starting the car.

2. Roll down the driver's side window (not required, but a good idea in case there's a problem).

3. Exit the car and close the door.

4. With a second key, physically lock the doors (don't use a remote).

5. Take the first remote to be programmed, press one of the buttons and the lights will flash once. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. That first transmitter is now programmed.

6. Lock the door again (physically) with the key, (not the remote).

7. Press one of the buttons twice, the lights will flash twice. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. The second transmitter is now programmed.

For a third transmitter press the button 3 times and for a fourth press 4 times.

NOTE: if you have multiple remotes, follow all the steps above in sequence to complete the program for all the remotes you have. Do not stop in between to test the remotes or it won't work. After you complete the programming procedure for all the remotes within one session, then remove the valet key from the ignition, and then you can test the remotes.
