Hi,

My current exhaust setup is a 3" pipewerx decat and downpipe which connects to a non-res cat back milltek on my LCR 225.

Unfortunately the milltek isn't loud enough for me, so i'm looking for a 3" system that will join onto the piperwerx decat which is tapered at the end to 2.75".

I'm thinking cobra but they only do a 2.5" cat-back system. The full system would be great but i don't need the decat and downpipe.

Is there any 3" systems out there that will join directly onto the 2.75" decat flange, so it's only tapered 2.75" on the flanges.

TIA

Lewis

From what I can find, there are no 3" options off the shelf, I have the pipe works down pipe and decat, I had the cat back section custom made in 3" and I had them cut off the 2.75 section of the decat, and flange it to 3"

That makes sense. I did take a look at the decat and the post cat lambder hole is very close to the end and right next to where it tapers so how did they manage to adapt it?

What custom system did you get?

Simply moved the lambda further up, new boss welded on. Mine was made by a local firm to me called Infinity exhausts

Where are you located? Is your system stainless steel?

I have a stainless steel 3" turbo back cobra sport exhaust with sports cat and it is too loud for my liking. There is one fault which is that the baffles in the rear silencer are loose and rattling on idle. I'm talking with cobra sports about a replacement as it should be under a guarantee as still have original invoice which was £785 iirc.

Might be interested in a deal with yourself depending on location.

Cheers
