Mines just hitting 3yrs sadly not as plain sailing as urself but still not bad as my old vauxhall (piece of crap)

But your right about the vauxhall. My first car was a corsa and what a heap. And it was only 4 years old!!!!
I've had mine just over a year and I too still walk up to it smiling (inside at least). Better still most days its parked right outside my shop so I get to look at it for hours on end (wish I had time). It's a standard 140 and doesn't have the frown of an FR or fancy frills of the cupra, instead it has a smilie face which makes me giggle like a school girl (actually most school girls look like miserable shits nowadays).
Great MPG, good handling (personally I think my old focus was better), good residuals (parkers say its worth more now than when I bought it), nicely equipped and very nicely styled (rear door handles are the best thing ever, I watch people try and get it and tell them its ******** proof - same with the boot) cheap insurance, especially for the power and on that subject they are great movers, coming off an island at 25mph in 3rd, steady power, turbo and your doing nearly 70 (my local dual carriageway).
