1. I replaced the stock H8 halogen fog light bulbs with Osram LEDriving HL H11 LEDs. After adjusting the focus, the beam pattern is identical to the OEM halogens but noticeably brighter. While it may not be as intense as products like the Photon Ultimate, Osram stands out with its superior focus, light color, and long lifespan.
2. The reverse light was upgraded with Osram LEDriving SL W16W LEDs, bringing a huge improvement in brightness. Since my Ibiza only has a single reverse light on the right taillight with a very small reflector, it was almost useless in dark parking situations. With this LED, the visibility is dramatically better. I’m also planning to custom-fit a second reverse light on the left taillight in the future. The LED initially triggered a warning light, but I managed to remove it with coding.
3. The steering wheel was wrapped with a new leather cover — perforated leather on the sides, smooth leather on the top and bottom. It added some extra thickness and improved the grip feel. I was never satisfied with the factory leather on the Style trim, especially since my hands sweat, so this is a huge improvement. (In the future, I plan to completely reupholster it from scratch.)
4. The license plate holders were swapped with chrome metal ones, replacing the dealer-branded plastic frames. Much cleaner and more premium look.
5. Installed chrome window trim that fully surrounds the glass. It gives the car a classy, almost Audi-like appearance.
6. On the tailgate, I replaced the OEM piano black trim piece with a chrome-finished one. This ties in nicely with the overall chrome accents I’ve been adding around the car.
