Im wanting to lower my cupra but feel 40mm isn't going to be enough!

If not then 40mm it will have to be :(

Coilovers will be bought for the summer before anyone mentions getting them instead :D

Ok rather than start a new thread though would completed this one.

Got my springs the other day (the cobra ones)

Fitted just the front for now, its only dropped by about 20mm.

Just a Q if anyone can answer(ive only eva had coilies before so not sure what to expect of the springs)

How long before brand new new springs settle?

Ill get a picture up tomorrow afta fitted the rears and so you guys can compare.

They should fully settle by 100 miles. But even just sitting on them will settle them.

Finally lowered on 50mm Cobra Springs (the ones in the earlier post)

Ordered them from europerformance and took 7 days to come all the way from holland. Very impressed with the service apart from DPD driver.

Just so you know I am running 17" Rota Torques with 20mm H&R Spacers on the rear and 3mm H&R spacers on the front so overall 6mm wider front track and 40mm wider rear track.

Anyway here are the pictures.

The verdict...

Well its a 50/50 I think this is because I've only ever had coilovers so have nothing to compare to spring wise.

The rear is perfect a nice 50mm drop, does scrub a little on harsh bumps.

The front could do with being 20mm lower but the springs do need to settle so will see over time.

Still understeers but again it is slippery so need to give it a good test when its been a nice sunny day(as if) and also going to amd essex soon to get 4 wheel alingment when have my service, so will need further run outs to feel the true difference (definatly more bumpy and less body roll for sure)

Tempted to go and get a rear upper strut and front upper strut but blueflame exhaust seems more appealing at the moment lol
