Hampshire Police believe the driver of a 52 plate RED IBIZA may have narrowly avoided and/or witnessed a ten car pile up on the M27 last week. If it's any of you guys please do the decent thing and tell them what you saw. One victim is critical with life threatening injuries.
POLICE MESSAGE
Police investigating the multi-vehicle crash which closed the westbound M27 for nearly 10 hours overnight Wednesday, October 29, to shortly after 9am Thursday, October 30, are appealing to the driver of a mystery red car to contact them.
Originally, police believed nine vehicles were involved, but witnesses have told police about a red car, possibly a 52 registration Seat Ibiza.
Totton Roads Policing Unit Sergeant Simon Brooks said:
“It is likely that the driver of this red car managed to avoid a collision and continued on his or her journey. That driver may have vital information, and we need the driver to contact police.”
