6 disc cd changer

hi guys when i brought my lcr it come with just a cd player in but if i was to buy a 6 disc cd palyer to put in the glovebox will there be a cable there to connect it too? cheers

No,you can buy a cable off eBay or the local stealers,mate.

Whats that adapter like? Does it work well? Easy to navigate to the song you want or is just random?

If you pull out the plastic sleeve tray, and have a look behind there might be a spare lead, and its just plug and play. Mine was kind of hooked onto a plastic clip to stop it from wriggling.

It seems to imply it doesn't work with an iPod, yet it's got USB in? Surely that would work then?

lol... im nearly on 15... lol... give me a mo and ill be on par... to be hounest buddy its better if you just tell me what you want for it, i dont want to offened you with a low ball offer, i only want it to fill the hole in my glove box and so i have a stereo to put in it when i eventualy sell it... so in essance im not actually gonna use it

to be honest then i might keep it in then, so theres no hole in the glovebox, thought it might give me a more room in glovebox, but if it just leaves a hole then im not too keen on taking it out

Ah right, i see yeah, i could let it go then, and buy the housing £50 delivered if you want it, and as to the standard HU i dont have it, car came without one, got a bit off the price for lack of one

I'm going through exactly the same thing. Bought the CD Changer, had the other half fit it and he's come in and said the wire that clips into the back of the standard head and to the cable coming from the CD Changer wasn't there so there was no way of connecting it. Grrrrrr

Anyone got any thoughts on where to get one from. Been to Halfords which is a no go as they dont stock them anymore (typical).
