ahh da bling bling shiny wheels website:(:(:(
wash them once and the lacquer falls off:(

can anyone recommend some 18" alloys for my black leon? it has been lowered. I want a silver alloy but not the chrome look, i dont know what type will look best. I really like Dozers alloys but cant find them on the net anywhere. I also really like Slicks alloys but dont want them in black :(

Dozer wheels are OZ wheels that are no longer made anymore but when they was made they where 1600 without tyres!

£600 and 18" with tyres your looking at a choice of "cheap you dont wanna put the alloys on your car as there made of plastic alloys" or cheap cheap "replica VAG group" wheels.

£600 most of the time WONT get you 18"s with good quality tyres, it will get you cheap wheels with cheap tyres, something i wouldnt put on any car personally.

But thats my opinion on it, dont have to agree with it.

I think you should get some nice LCR wheels, I think there is some for sale in the forum sale section ;)

Allan you might as well post the link while your there.. lol

Personally I dont think westlondon will get a set of 18"s anyway at £600, it sounds as he doesnt want a 2nd hand set and whats brand new, and most likely end up with 17" wheels Kei, Wolfrace alike set.

Ive got a set of 18in Novoulari wheels with very good Yokohama Parada Spec tyres on ebay at the moment. £450 buy it now.

Slick, I agree with you and others, also think the 19's you got for grabs are a bargain and very very nice

Any effect on the handling for the 19's? what wheels are you changing them for?

Handling is improved to be honest as the tyre width is wider e.g. better grip! So its all gains and no disavantages really in my eyes, the only down side which unless your an old man and likes a smooth ride on a fast hatch is the vibration thou the tyres is a little increased due to the small profile on the tyres, but its not massive difference just noticeable on the not so perfect roads.

I've changed to a set of 19"s that allow better clearance on the brakes, got a set of Porka GT3 calipers going on it, and the old ones wasnt very good for clearing them, where the new ones are alot better, once i got the camera sorted I'll take some pics on the new wheels to post up in the forum!

Slicks alloys are in perfect condition and definitely turn a lot of heads for sure. You seriously will not believe how good condition they are. I never seen anyone polish and wax wheels on a regular basis like him. It makes me sick because mine always look so dirty in comparison.

what about these.

like your wheels, can you tell me wot they are and how much they cost?

Cheers

theyre nice benji. I think for light cars black alloys look good and on dark cars light alloys work best.

I think im being drawn towards the new RS6 alloys but also liking the new RS4 alloys as well, Il put a pair on each side !!! :)

Other than these alloys anything else that would look good guys I know its personnal preference but i think 4-5 spoke alloys would look best in alluminium finish
