6cd player to aftermarket HU

I am changing the HU in my Bora and wondered if anyone knows if there is an adapter to connect sony HU to the standard VW 6cd in dash cd player. I know this is the Seat web site but they are all the same brand.

I have found adaptors that allow you to connect aftermarket cd players to factory fit HU's but not the other way round. Is this possible?
