6K and 8K HID

Hi everyone,

Recently bought the 6k hid kit and wanted a bit more blue in the light, so got them swoped for the 8k bulbs. However, I dont seem to see any difference or very slightly bluer, not much. Is this normal for 8k bulbs? They are the HIDS4U 55w kit.

Yes you'll notice roadway signs far less blue on 6k.
I went from 8k to 6k.

Wonder if your 6k 55w bulbs will fit my 35w bulb kit?

Thanks for the reply I wanted to have a bit more blueness in the light from the 8k bulbs but oh well, they'll have to do. I'll have to take some pics tonight or something.

I would have thought they would be ok regarding the 6k 55w bulbs and the 35w kit.

I did ask for the 8k bulbs from HIDS4U and they sent me these

what do you reckon they are?

Sorry for another question but do you think its the 55w ballasts which is causing the problem of the blueness?

I can't see that tbh as they sell different HIDS in the 55w.

looks like 4300k to me. i ordered a 4300k 55w kit. shuld be fitting them soon. ill pop up some pics if ya want??
