Ive been looking for a haynes manual for my 1.9 tdi sport mk3 ibiza but can find one seems like they only made one for mk2 then jumped straight to mk4 but im just wondering what other models this engine is in i no its not the pd engine in mk4 golfs does anybody no if it was in the mk3 golf or anything else.

:help:The reason i want a hayne's manual is to do the cambelt and replace the turbo if there any guides people no of i would be glad of any information.

hav you got a link to any of these pages from google? i need to see the timing i cant find a page on google relating to mine. i need this because i think the fuel pump timing is out

Normally on golf tdi they all lock up..crank is set on tdc through spy hole on gear box..cam locked by rocker cover off and lock rear of cam..and pump by locking through pump pikkt or set up by dti mate normally easy..plus are you shore you have correct engine code..or try asking a local garage for a autodata print out

Sign up to this place and follow the guide, it's for the ALH but that's just the 90bhp version of yours which will be the ASV 110bhp.

There's loads of stuff on there and there's this one too

Both handy places, like I said it's just the same as the ALH for just about everything. They have extra stuff like egr coolers etc over there but other than that it's fine. The ASV just has fancier pistons, bigger injector nozzles and a slightly different map on the ecu. Also you'll have a front mount instead of the side mount like you get in the golfs and bora/jetta. Easier to deal with.
Just drop me a pm if you get stuck.

While I remember, here's a good pic with the measurements for making your own tools
