Hi my car's Brembo brakes have started to grind a little and seem less effective, I have some pictures of the discs and pads of the front pair. Does look like very little pad left and badly scored discs, so I guess i will just have to bite the bullet and replace them.
I have been given a quote of
£230 for EBC Discs or £155.39 plain discs

and

£99.54 for Ferodo pads
£69.00 Labour to fit

quote was from The TT Shop in Bedford

doe this seem a fair price for the discs and pads, couldn't seem to find anywhere local near Newmarket/Cambridge unless any of you guys know of some reliable places.

Thanks

Mate, it's so easy to change the discs & pads yourself so buy the best ones you can afford and do them yourself :D
You'll feel much better after doing them.......

Not really that confident enough doing the brakes, always have doubts in my mind on not doing something quite right :)

I get my front disks at national Tyres. The Ebc Ultimax ones. I supply my own Ferodo pads(from badger 5 on here). The disks cost about 200. Fitting is free and they fit the pads aswell. The pads price sounds fine but fitting price, to me, is ott. As said I have always had free fitting and national tyres cannot be the only place to offer this.

Thanks guys I bit the bullet and did myself in the end I got the EBC plain discs with a set of Ferodo DS Performance FDS1348 pads a bit cheaper on my pocket,

Just need to bed them in, will the FDS1348 be way behind in performance of the DS2500 in anyone's opinion.

Never driven the FDS1348 but the 2500's are awesome, tried and tested.
