How do all, just thought id ask on here to see if my thought are right or wrong... if it is in the wrong the please let me know :)

basically when i first start the car and drive off for abit if im going say 20mph or slower the rear left side break seems to make a humming sound. now i think its either the pad rubbing on the disk as its cold out or theres a stone stuck in it... But when i press on the break it stops then might return later.. can anyone please advise? also i think the front left wheel bearing might be on the go but can anyone tell me some tail tail signs or bit to look out for.

many thanks guys & girls!

could be bearing mate, jack it up and hold hands on 12oclock and 6 oclock and see if theres any play in the wheel, if there is its the bearing.

i also have this sound when i drive in reverse and i brake looks like there is room on the caliper bolts or something ??

ok ill have a look with a mate of mine being a mechanic has its +'s lol cheers for the info i got my mate to stick his head out of the window and have a listen n he said it was coming from the rear left side wheel :S
