Today after start of the engine two lights did not disappears - yellow ABS light and brakes warning red light.
ABS disapears about ca. 3min of driving, brakes stays on.
During second start of the engine the same happened.
On first red signal on cross road I pressed several times brake and red warning light disapears as well.
Then no problem...

I am currious what was the problem.
My car was parked for ca. a week (since 26th Dec), outside is last 4 days -5C.
I checked brake fluid level - I had enough.

Any experience with this?

If your having to pump the pedal it sounds like it was low pressure in the system and pumping it was building pressure.

I'd take it to a dealer to get plugged in and check for faults.

Today visited SEAT service - there is no possibility to see what was the problem. They can read errors only when there is a light on the dashboard.

Technician tips it should be low battery voltage (truth is that my car was parked on icy conditions for more than a week) so he recommends to charge battery.
I will do that this night, I will charge it on winter mode (a little bit higher voltage).
Will see if it will continue. If so, then I have to leave my car in service for a week.

I think I can do that without removing contacts & battery from car, right?
I have impulse battery charger (new type - looks like a laptop power source).

You can see your battery State of Charge by following this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S9ukv1INt8, if I'm honest it sounds like a cop out from the dealer, fault codes are registered and recorded with time and odometer counts in the ECU along with a count of how many times they have occurred. All they have done is reset them, no skill in that.

I will check it before charging.

I think the same - car is writing all error codes into memory, even my old 19y car has done it this way. I am pretty sure dealer just dont want to waste his still Christmas time with another case.

Dealer is talking crap.

Just had mine serviced at an independent VAG specialist and I asked if there were any fault codes recorded. I had two, both from events earlier that week.

1. Warning from the TPM system - twice it's complained when I go over a cat's eye in the road. Checked pressures and recalibrated via MFD.
2. Central locking error - I was trying to lock the car with the rear door ajar. Tried the key fob a few times and it caused something to overheat.

Nothing problematic but the point is, the 'errors' are stored and timestamped in the data logs. Sounds like the dealer couldn't be bothered.

My board comp is not showing battery status. It shows clock settings and time to service interval (distance and time).
But I measured voltage directly on battery with multimeter. 12.31 V..
What should be normal level?

If that is across the battery terminals you have a problem. A healthy battery should show about 12.6 volts across the terminals after standing a few hours. If you test immediately after turning off its likely to be quite a bit higher.

Any less than 12.4 volts is unlikely to start the car so are you sure your volt meter is accurate.

12.3v is considered 70% charged!

as above it should be closer to 12.6

ideally you want to check the voltage whilst cranking the engine over

a significant drop while cranking will cause low voltage at the ABS module which in turn brings up the errors you had

this is one of the first warnings of a battery failing

+ cable was directly on battery terminal
- cable was on "-" labeled piece of metal near battery (on battery is a sign that minus cable should be connected to this metal)
Measuring multimeter is a classic low-cost digital multimeter for home purposes.

After short trip in the city I meassured it again, 12.5 V.
This night is car in garage, connected to the electricity and charging. Wow, I have an electromobile!:rofl:

Both lights stops to keep flashed after start of the engine, maybe because I started to ride again after Christmas and battery was a bit recovered.
But I did not noticed any degradated ability to start motor. It starts without problems.

Low battery can have several reasons - parked a week, during last month driven only 500-600km in a city conditions (very short tracks, even motor was not heated well), wintertime (icy).

What is the consumption of parked Leon ST? Does anybody knows?
For my old car I measured it once with ampermeter and counted that it can be parked 10 days maximum, otherwise battery will be completely drained by alarm and the rest of live electric part.

Low battery was not the reason.
Yesterday I charged battery, today morning it happens again. The same, ABS light and Brakes light keep lightened after engine start, ABS light disappears after ca 30s ride, brakes light stays on. I made some pics during ride for the dealer, so he can not say he do not see any error.
Went directly to the dealer, car is in service.

I will inform you what was the reason.

Just picked up my car from the dealer - replaced sensor of brake pressure.
Of course for free, warranty service.
