Is there a way to accelerate quickly without brakes stopping wheel spin, other than launch control?

It is possible on older cars to code this feature off with VCDS/OBD11.

Been a while since I played with this but on the pre facelift Leon you can adjust the starting vibration reduction, from memory on the facelift MK3 the value was called Dynamic starting assist.

Not sure if this is still in the cars fitted with SFD but from memory its now called offroad something but a search of this and other forums should confirm that.

Turn traction control off. Add a Powerflex dogbone mount insert to stop wheelhop.

I thought that was English. It’s this:

It’s your traction which is stopping wheel spin I think, not the brakes. Mine used to wheelhop a lot from a standing start. Upgrade your tyres and add that mount. That helped my car.

Can't believe how Seat garages can't help
Tried launch control can't afford to keep replacing the tyres.
Above 30 kph perfect, 0-100 times 1 second quicker if they. Could cure this.
Very difficult to know what causes it, was told was brakes? Would love to know, but how?
Anyway thanks for reply dont seem to be many in forum know answer!

You need a 4WD car if you want to be quick off the line to be honest. FWD will always struggle, but they’re quick once rolling. Mines running 350bhp.
