Hi I am new here,

Sorry if this has been discussed before, i purchased a 2018 1.4 seat leon two months ago from a trader not main dealer.

A few days after purchase i noticed a rattle with the windows down, the car was in eco mode and in high gear low speed and rpm with little throttle.
it has been to a number of garages and they can not diagnose the problem. seeing in FB groups they are suggesting its the actuator arm that is rattling under these conditions.

there is no pending/active fault codes.

The Seller has offered to try and repair the car or give me a full refund however they said if the turbo needs replacing they wont do it and i don't know if the warranty 2000 will cover it either as there is no fault codes. my concern is that the turbo is about to fail and i do not want to be left paying the bill for a new turbo.

Is this the first sign of the turbo failing?

Has anyone used an actuator clip and has it worked if so which one would you recommend for my car?

I have to make a decision either give the car back or keep it and put an actuator clip on providing this is just a rattle and nothing more

thanks in advance for all your help.
