Ok guys i need some thoughts, im scereousley concidering having a play with plasti dip i have been watching some youtube tutorials and it looks like pretty good stuff! The uk supplyer do a discount if you buy 6 so i was thinking matt black for the wheels roof and spoiler i think 6 can would just about do it thing is its £70 which seems alot for what is essentially tempoary spray paint... Any thoughts?

Little update, I was bored at work earlier so I thought i would take a few pictures. But by the time i got outside the sun stated to come out and they have come out a little grainy,
they don't look to bad though

just been cleaning out some old things and came across some old warhammer and found a paint called "Bolt Gun Metal" well it turns out to be an almost identical colour to my car, well about a month ago my brother kindley reversed into me as i drove into the driveway and left a small but nasty gouge in the plastic bumper so i thought if give it a little toutch up.

I think for an old pot of paint its quite a good match what do you think? if anybody has a similar problem with a small scratch or stone chips i don't think it cost much more then £1.50 from games workshop.

well after the touch ups i got a little carried away and painted around the badges i carbon wrapped.

ok todays update i have pictures of my newley painted seat badges, my SCN sticker arrived today and i have led side lights.

Got up nice and early today and went shopping bought paint for my calipers and some spray paint for some trim have a look

As i was painting the post man came with my chrome indicator bulbs

Then i sprayed the engine cover, sorry i didn't take a before it was just matt black.

And the vent inserts

I wanted to paint the rings but whatever i tried i couldn't get them out! i didn't want to break them so i left it does anybody have any tips?

Slowly running out of small cheep mods to do now going to have to start thinking about spending some real money! but on what??
Tinting rear windows (can anybody give me a rough price?)
getting the car slammed
or getting the roof and spoiler matt black vinyl wrapped, what are we thinking?

Thanks man! im thinking of suspension next just needs to be for the right price your car looks sweet i love the alloys not sure i could be so bold, im thinking matt black for mine want im emailing a friend in america to get me some Plasti dip because it looks sooo easy to do and you get awesome results!

received my clear side repeaters today so iv tinted and fitted them.

old repeaters didn't realize they were different :S

Also tinted the fogs but as i pulled off the masking tape it cought the tint ans pulled half of it off! very annoying but my fault for rushing because it started to rain i will finish it off later on!

Second update of the day!

Fixed the fog light tint happy with the results.

Also found the running lights off my old Passat.

I have wanted to do something with them for a while but never got around to it. The origenal plan was to back light the side vents but the running lights are to deep and end up to close so the light just hit's one slat which would look terrible, so when i was playing around behind the grill there's a great bit of plastic to mount on so i went for the badge grill.

I might uplight it aswell with the other one but the only place to mount at the bottom is a metal bracket and i need to drill through it.

Im quite happy with it but will i will have a better idea of what it looks like later on when its darker.

I like the side and fog lights I'll be doing mine soon but that running light is awfull in my opinion but good work so far keep it coming
