too late LED's are ordered just seen these on ebay look pretty easy to fit but im pretty skeptical if there not bright they would just look cheep and **** and i cant find meny pictures on google that look like they haven't been shopped in any way...
Thought about puddle lights but the door won't shut properly unless flush.
It is really easy mate and to do mine it cost me £7 altogether. £3 for the two led strips and £4 for scotch locks and wire from maplins. I've bought 10 of those LEDs so far and none of them have failed yet lol. I bought 2 sets for the door handles in old car as the windows snapped them and then one set for old footwells and one set for new footwells then one spare set lol. I can link you to them if you want?
Its cool i can usually remember what shoes im wearing =p i dont want it to over the top =] I was supprised they were so heep though i was thinking they would me more like £10 each.
I've used them in various applications and in other cars too and no issues. Tgeyre only a hazard if you use them incorrectly. Incompetence is the fire starter not the equipment.
they were a little grubby though so i gave them a quick clean and a polish
got the clutch and the brake pedal fitted but whats the deal with the accelerator? there's no way that's going on? is it just a case of gluing it on? what has everyone else done?
do what i did mate..cut the ridges off the back to make the rubber flush..and glue it on..thats how i did mine and they been on there for 8 months no probs
