I'm now GUTTED to find that my Boc does not have the usb connector! Need to find a solution.

Think we have all given up with this in here...you get over it after a while.

Especially when you realise the standard headunit produces some pretty awefull sound quality.

Fresh aftermarket Headunit is the way forwards!!

Got my eye on a cheeky alpine double din beauty

I don't want to go DD cos I will lose the shiny carbon surround. May just have to dig deep and buy from dealer.

trust me its no sad loss to lose the original carbon surround once you replace the radio and realise how poor the sound quality is from the original. Glad i changed mine, quick and simple to do :)

This arrived today, lets see if it works. Never messed around with ice before so should be interesting installing it...

The ipod/iphone xcarlink that also has the ability to add bluetooth (although i didn't bother buying that add on). Claims to work fully with the steering wheel controls and head unit. Will set it up like the dension unit so the iphone will be in the glove box but i have control this time rather than hitting shuffle and hoping for the best

£80 i believe, arrived next day no problems. They also do a USB + aux one, which is slightly more expensive.

I've had to stop myself from purchasing one of those myself, would love to but can't justify it quite yet.

As far as i can tell they sent me the wrong bloody kit as it wont connect up.... So going to have to send it off for an exchange or refund and then get a pioneer unit instead.... Decisions decisions...

Just get a pioneer unit and be done with it. It'll give you the functionality you want, improve the sound quality and look rather tasty to boot.

Yeah exactly my thoughts the only thing holding me back is finding the right surround as others seem to be having problems. Its all well and good having a great headunit but if it doesnt look like a good install i wouldn't bother.
