Least you know now that "your a clot and youve ruined your car" HAHAHAHA!

I may fit one when I get round to the custom FMIC in the new year ;)

& oh, hello hello sammy, it has been a long time - your missues told me last night to say hi to you ;)

Which catch can have people got. Sam (pyro) and sam (sambryant) they both look the same? Is the a certain 1 that will fit?

Cheers sam. What exactly will i need as im very close to gettin 1. Soon as i find out what i need il get the stuff

in order not to start a new topic, i need some help related to the catch can.

i fitted one, on my AMK engine, but now, when i take the foot off the throttle, there is a blue smoke coming out from my exhaust. the car pulls fine, there is no other problem.
if i push the clutch, and the engine rpm is low, there is no problem either. so, only when in gear, and the rpms are descending from engine brake.
in WOT there is no smoke, so i believe the turbo is still fine.
should be something else..and just a coincidence with my fitting of the catch can?

the catch can is custom made to fit the small space from my engine..but what can be different from the ones which are being sold after-market? there are all empty inside, right ?

thank you.

hi there, yes the cans are empty. i have no smoke coming from the car. tbh i cant see why a catch can would cause any smoke, the only thing i can think of, is the can fitted correctly.
sam

thank you for your answers.

I'll bring a picture, as soon as possible.
somehow, after a few hundred miles it has a small quantity of oil inside, and now, when the weather is cold, it makes condensation?
something like this:
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=2829875&postcount=331

until i bring a picture, can someone post one of theirs? just to make a comparison...

if the turbo was in its last days, wouldn't it make the smoke also during WOT?

after i have fitted the catch can, i have descended around 10 miles in engine brake on a mountain road, and at the bottom i saw for the first time the smoke...could this have smth to do with it? but the oil must have greased the turbo also in engine brake, right?
